Unravelled

The latest installment of the Keratin Series attempts to depict the internal and external chaos occurring during this last year of social isolation.  Similar to the series before it, I combine disparate images to represent the underlying bio-physical connections linking mineral to animal, to human.   This time, the plaits have unravelled to reveal the mutated structures, stripped down to their essence lying beneath.  The dynamic interaction between flux and stasis provides some release to the social carbuncle enflamed by the pandemic.
